In a nutshell: What's in the free package?

Sure, you don't get the full version, but the selection is still bold enough to get a really good impression of yourself. Here are the confirmed maps and modes:

Game modes:

  • Conquest (conquest): The classic! Great battles with infantry and vehicles.
  • Breakthrough: Attack and defence, there is also a loose ‘initiation’ variant with bots to get in.
  • Escalation: The dynamic, new mode.
  • Sabotage: A smaller, more intense mode.
  • Team Deathmatch: For those who like it short and painless.

Maps:

  • Siege of Cairo: One of the most popular cards, nice!
  • Eastwood: Fresh from Season 1, and watch out: Here shall be a Breaking-Bad-Easter-Egg Hide on a house roof! Keep your eyes open!
  • Blackwell oil fields: The card is hated by many fans. But hey, maybe you like it!

Which modes should you play first? Take a look at the playlists

To prevent you from scrolling through the menus in the Free Trial, the content is cleverly divided into three playlists. Each one has its own taste of Battlefield 6:

The gentle entry: Initiation Breakthrough

If you are new to the game or just want to get to know the maps in peace, this is your starting point. Initiation Breakthrough is a 48-player variant on the map Siege of Cairo With one crucial difference: There are bots!

The principle is known: You play assailants or defenders. The attackers push sector by sector, the defenders try to save their tickets. The pressure is noticeably lower than in the big modes, perfect to get used to the weapons and movement.

Tips for Breakthrough:

Always in together: The more squad members in a target area, the faster it is captured. Stay in the group!

Disturbance is defending: As a defender, a single player in the Objective is often enough to stop the enemy's advance completely.

Creative attacks: Use gadgets! Drones scout the enemies, C4 makes up walls and ladders help to bypass bottlenecks.

Compact and fast: Team Tactical Modes

If you like it more compact, faster and more personal, you should take a look here. In addition to the self-explanatory Team Deathmatch (TDM) Find the mode sabotage. Here, lens play mixes with time pressure: You have to attack a cargo and explode, then the sides are exchanged. Whoever was faster in the end wins.

Tips for Team Tactical Modes:

Revives save matches: Battlefield rewards team play massively. Don't leave your comrades behind, a revival is often more important than a kill.

Don't play Rambo: Especially in TDM and sabotage, the cards are small. Always move with your squad and pay attention to flanks.

Sabotage: Explosives > bullets: It's about causing damage to the cargo. Anyone who works with grenades and explosives here contributes more to the victory than someone with a high K/D.

The full chaos: All-out warfare

Here shows Battlefield 6 his muscles. The classic Conquest is at the start: Tickets, Objectives, Vehicles, and Huge Chaos.

In addition, escalation. The principle is similar to Conquest, but it uses territories instead of tickets and gradually unlocks larger vehicle levels, making matches increasingly chaotic.

Tips for All-Out Warfare:

Buffer zones hold: Controls the paths between the objectives. Whoever obstructs the enemy's movement controls the entire match.

PTO (Play the Objective): The most important thing in Battlefield! Individual duels bring you little. Whoever holds the flags gets the points.

Squadplay wins: Communication is stronger than any weapon. Pass through target markings and use vehicles in a team.

Extra: Free Lethal Force package

Until 30 November, the M2010 ESR Weapon Package is free for all REDSEC players. You can pick it up in the inbox menu (EA symbol). A powerful long-range weapon, useful for BR and Conquest.

But beware: The pack is only available until 30.11

Oh, and another thing: Your progress will be preserved!

This is great news for the undecided:

Have you already Redsec All your unlocks (weapons, skins, ranks) will be taken over in the Free Trial.

Everything you unlock and earn during the Free Week, You will also be able to purchase them if you are willing to do so. Battlefield 6 decide.

TL:DR

So the trial is a real ‘try before you buy’ opportunity where you don’t lose anything, you can only win. So, grab the gun and get into the hustle and bustle! Use the week to see if the shooter grabs you.
